In July 1974, Sam Ross opened the very first Fantastic Sams® salon in Memphis, Tennessee with a bold vision: to make professional, high-quality haircare accessible to everyone. What began as one salon in the U.S. quickly grew into a trusted national brand built on value, expertise, and consistency.
